How to Install ADSSPEED on Windows and Open Your First Profile (First-Run Guide)
What should you prepare?
- A Windows PC that meets the requirements shown on the download page.
- An internet connection for the download, sign-in and updates.
- An ADSSPEED account, which you can create when you first open the app.
- A proxy, if you plan to use one. You can add it later.
- Virtualization enabled in the BIOS, only if you want Android phone profiles. See how to check if it is enabled and how to enable it.
Step by step
- Download. Open adsspeed.com and choose the Windows download.
- Install. Run the installer and follow the prompts. If Windows asks for permission, allow it.
- Open and sign in. Start ADSSPEED, then sign in or create an account.
- Create your first profile. Give it a name, set a proxy if you use one, and adjust its browser settings.
- Open the profile. It opens its own browser window with its own cookies.
- Check the basics. Look up the IP address in the profile and confirm the country; then check the time zone and language (why they should match).
For what a profile keeps apart from your normal browser, see what is a browser profile?.
What about Android phone profiles?
The first time you create a phone profile, ADSSPEED guides you through a one-time setup of the Android components. It needs virtualization enabled in the BIOS, it can take a while, and if the app asks you to restart Windows, do so. Phone profiles also use more RAM and CPU than browser profiles, so start with a few.
What if something goes wrong?
| Problem | What to try |
|---|---|
| Setup says virtualization is off | Turn it on in the BIOS: how to enable virtualization |
| Setup is stuck on a step | Wait a few minutes. Then restart Windows normally (not with the power button) and run setup again |
| Not enough disk space or memory | Free some space, close other programs and try again |
| The download looks wrong | Download again from adsspeed.com only |
| A profile opens but the IP is wrong | Check the proxy settings and run the IP lookup again |
| Still stuck | Contact support with a screenshot |
First-run checks in five minutes
Run these inside your first profile, after you set its proxy:
| Check | How | Guide |
|---|---|---|
| IP address and country | Open an IP lookup page in the profile | Proxy types explained |
| Time zone and language | Run the one-line check in the browser console | Timezone, language and IP |
| WebRTC | Open a WebRTC test page | WebRTC leak: what it is and how to test it |
| Overall fingerprint | Run Cover Your Tracks | What is browser fingerprinting? |
What to do next
- Set a proxy for each profile (proxy types explained).
- Create more profiles and organise them by client or project.
- If you write code, drive profiles with the local API.
Use ADSSPEED only for accounts you own or are authorised to manage, and follow each platform's rules.
Frequently asked questions
Is ADSSPEED free to download?
Yes, the product page says the download is free and you get your first profile straight away. Paid plans add more profiles and features.
Which Windows versions are supported?
The supported versions and requirements are shown on the download page and in the installer, and they can change between releases, so check there rather than relying on an old guide.
Is there a macOS version?
The download page offers a macOS build next to the Windows one. This guide covers Windows.
Do I need virtualization to use ADSSPEED?
Browser profiles don't need it. Android phone profiles do: virtualization has to be enabled in the BIOS before you create one.
What if setup gets stuck?
Wait a few minutes, then restart Windows with Start, Power, Restart rather than holding the power button, and run setup again. A forced power-off can leave changes half-applied. If it still stalls, contact support with a screenshot.
