Can You Use Two Bandcamp Accounts at Once on One Computer? Fan, Artist and Connected Logins
Can you be logged in to two Bandcamp accounts at once on one computer?
Yes if the accounts are connected, and not in the same browser profile if they are not. According to Bandcamp's Help Center (read 3 October 2026), you can connect accounts so that one login manages them, then move between them from your avatar menu without logging out. For accounts you leave unconnected, the Help Center's own instructions involve logging out of one before using the other.
No Help Center page read for this guide describes being signed in to two unconnected accounts in one browser window. That fits how browsers work: Chromium's documentation lists cookies among the data stored per profile, so a second simultaneous login needs a second profile.
How do Bandcamp's connected accounts work?
Bandcamp has fan accounts (your collection), artist accounts (your page) and label accounts (a page with a roster of artists). The Help Center says you can hold a fan and an artist account at the same time and manage them under one login once they are connected. This is its description of the result:
| You want to... | What the Help Center says |
|---|---|
| Log in with fan and artist accounts connected | You land on your artist page view automatically |
| Reach the fan side | Click your avatar to open the user dropdown; the fan account is listed at the top, with a view collection link |
| Reach your artist page | Use the view site link in the same menu |
| Reach another connected artist account | Use the Connected Account link in the menu |
| Choose which artist account opens first | Not possible: the default cannot be changed |
The Help Center describes connecting in a desktop browser, from the Connected Accounts section of your Settings page (the Login help page calls it Linked Accounts):
- Select
Connect an account. - For an account you own, select
Continue, enter that account's username or email and its password, then selectConnect. - To invite instead, enter the email address linked to the other account, select
Send invitationand confirm the address.
The page does not say what an accepted invitation lets the other account do, so ask Bandcamp support before you rely on invitations to share access. If your avatar menu shows no fan page or other artist pages, the Help Center says the account you logged in to is not connected to any other.
What if the accounts are not connected?
Each unconnected account is its own login. The Help Center covers these common cases:
| Situation | What the Help Center says | What to keep in mind |
|---|---|---|
| You want another artist account | Log out of all accounts (fan or artist), then sign up as an artist; you can repeat this as often as you like | Use a unique username, email address and password for each, as the page recommends |
| Two accounts share a login email | Sign in with the username you chose at sign-up | Write each username down: the login username cannot be changed |
| You can reach only one of two same-email accounts | The page says to let Bandcamp know | Contact support with the profile URLs |
| You have a fan account and add an artist account | Log out of the fan account and sign up as an artist; then log out of the new artist account, log in to the fan account and connect the artist account | The connection is manual, under Settings > Connected Accounts |
| You have an artist account and want a fan side | While logged in to the artist account, buy music, or if you have bought before, use the fan sign-up page | The page says this makes the two accounts "one and the same" |
Which email, username and URL belongs to which account?
With several accounts, the identifiers are what keep you oriented. Per the Help Center:
| Identifier | What it does |
|---|---|
| Login email | Used to log in; changeable under profile image, Settings > Account. Label invitations are sent to it |
| Login username | Fixed, not public, and needed when accounts share an email |
| Payment emails | Populate a fan collection; extra ones can be linked on the Fan tab of Settings |
| Subdomain or fan URL | The public address; artists and labels change the subdomain from Edit profile, fans change the URL under Settings > Fan |
Which setup keeps two logins open on one PC?
| Option | What you get | Limits |
|---|---|---|
| Connected accounts | One login; switch from the avatar menu | Only for accounts you can connect; the default artist account cannot be changed |
| One browser profile per account | Each profile keeps its own cookies, so each can stay signed in to a different account | You must open the right profile each time; see the profiles guide |
| A second browser | A separate set of browser data from your first | Easy to forget which browser holds which account |
| Bandcamp's phone apps | The Help Center lists a Fan app and a separate Artist app | Both are listed for iOS and Android; the page mentions no desktop app |
Chrome's help says a profile keeps bookmarks, history, passwords and other settings separate. A profile separates data on your computer; it does not change the computer or its internet connection. What a browser profile is explains the idea, and the comparison guide shows how private windows and VPNs differ.
What limits should you know about?
- Fan accounts cannot be merged. The Help Center describes consolidating collections instead, and warns that wishlists and followers do not transfer. Read that page in full before deleting anything.
- No documented disconnect. None of the pages read describes how to disconnect a connected account.
- Releases stay where they were uploaded. The Help Center says tracks and albums cannot be moved between accounts: re-upload to the other account and make one version private.
What if it does not work?
- Open the avatar menu. If there is no fan page or other artist link, the accounts are not connected.
- If your email opens the wrong account, log in with the username instead.
- If you cannot log in at all, read the Bandcamp login troubleshooting guide on resets, activation emails and browser checks.
- If you can reach only one of two same-email accounts, contact Bandcamp support, as the Help Center's wrong-account page says to.
Where ADSSPEED fits
ADSSPEED is a desktop app for Windows and macOS that manages many browser profiles. Every profile keeps its own cookies, local data and browser settings, so accounts you manage can stay signed in side by side without signing each other out. Profiles can be opened, stopped and organised in bulk, and profile data stays on your own computer. For the Fan and Artist apps, ADSSPEED also has Android phone profiles, each its own device configuration, for mobile apps on a PC. It does not change what Bandcamp allows. Setup is in installing ADSSPEED on Windows. ADSSPEED is not affiliated with Bandcamp.
Frequently asked questions
Can you have multiple accounts on Bandcamp?
Yes, according to Bandcamp's Help Center. To add another artist account, log out of all your accounts, then sign up as an artist with a unique username, email address and password; the page says you can repeat this as often as you like. You can also hold a fan account and an artist account together.
Can you merge two Bandcamp accounts?
The Help Center says fan accounts cannot be merged, only their collections consolidated: you delete the account you do not want and add its email as a payment address on the one you keep. Wishlists and followers do not transfer. Releases cannot be moved between artist accounts either.
How do you log in as a fan and as an artist on Bandcamp?
When a fan and an artist account are connected, logging in opens your artist page view. Click your avatar to open the user dropdown: the fan account is listed at the top with a view collection link, view site opens your artist page, and Connected Account leads to other connected artist accounts.
How do you turn a Bandcamp fan account into an artist account?
The Help Center describes keeping both rather than converting one. Log out of the fan account, sign up as an artist, then log in to the fan account and connect the new artist account under Settings, Connected Accounts, so that one login manages both.
Can you merge a Bandcamp artist account and a fan account?
The Help Center describes connecting them rather than merging them. If you are logged in to the artist account, it says you can make the two one and the same by buying music, or by using the fan sign-up page if you have already purchased, so you no longer log out and in.
