Behance
Why Does Behance Keep Logging Me Out or Show a Blank Profile After Login?
Why does Behance log you out, or open an empty profile?
These are two different problems with two different sets of causes. Repeated sign-outs, or a site that acts as if you were logged out, point to browser settings: Behance's Help Center says it does not support browsers that have third-party cookies disabled. An empty profile right after a successful login points to the wrong Adobe ID or Adobe profile, because your work sits under a different one.
Sign-in on Behance runs through your Adobe ID, and the Help Center says most common login issues can be resolved on Adobe's own sign-in help page. The Behance pages read for this guide (3 October 2026) do not describe location checks, new-device alerts or two-step prompts, so none are described here. That is a note about coverage, not a claim that such screens never appear. Use only accounts you own or are authorised to manage, and follow Behance's rules.
Causes and fixes at a glance
| What you see | Cause named by the Help Center | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Signed out again and again, or logged-in features fail | Third-party cookies are disabled, which Behance does not support | Allow them, or add an Adobe.com exception |
| Pages display oddly or misbehave | Extensions such as ad blockers or password managers can interfere with how Behance displays | Test in a private window and disable suspect extensions |
| Logged in but everything is blank | The wrong Adobe ID, which opens a new, blank profile | Log out and try the right Adobe ID |
| Blank after your Adobe account joined a managed business or school account | Your assets moved from the Personal profile to a Business profile | Turn off automatic profile selection, log in again and choose the profile |
| Access Denied | An Adobe ID tied to a K-12 Student Profile | See the section on school accounts |
| No verification email | The email address is not verified yet | Resend it from Adobe Account Settings |
Step by step: when Behance keeps signing you out
These steps come from Help Center pages last updated in 2019 and 2020, so your browser's menu names may differ.
- Use a supported browser. The Help Center lists Chrome and Firefox on PC and Mac, Safari on Mac only and Edge on PC only, in the two most recent versions.
- Allow third-party cookies. The FAQ says logged-in features need them. If you prefer to keep them blocked, it says to add an exception for Adobe.com and to include the
*wildcard in the entry. For Safari it names Preferences, Privacy and the prevent cross-site tracking option. - Rule out extensions. Ad blockers and password managers can interfere with how Behance displays. The Help Center suggests a private or incognito window as a test and disabling extensions that may interfere.
- Clear the browser cache. A Help Center page links to cache instructions for each supported browser.
- Try a different browser. If the problem does not appear there, it is confined to the first browser. Note which browsers you tried.
- Contact Behance with a description of the problem and screenshots if none of this helps.
You are logged in, but the profile is empty
The Help Center's sign-in guide says that if everything is blank, you most likely signed in with the wrong Adobe ID and created a new, blank profile. Log out and try a different one, and check the punctuation in the address.
A second cause involves managed accounts. If your Adobe account was recently added to a managed business or school account, your assets were migrated from your Personal profile to a new Business profile linked to your email address. To see which profile holds your work:
- Turn off automatic profile selection. The Behance article links to Adobe's instructions for this setting.
- While logged out, return to Behance and log in again.
- A screen should offer two or more Adobe profiles: one Personal and at least one Business or Education profile.
- Choose the one that holds your Behance content. The FAQ says the Business or Education profile now contains it.
To move content back, the migration guide (updated 7 July 2026) describes Settings, then Use a Different Adobe Profile, then Use your Personal Profile. You must be able to access the Business profile, you are logged out when the flow completes, and you choose Personal Profile at the next login. It does not merge two profiles.
Access Denied and school accounts
The Help Center says an Access Denied warning likely means you signed in with an Adobe ID associated with a K-12 Student Profile. An Adobe ID can hold several profiles, for schools, jobs or other teams as well as a Personal profile, each with its own level of access, and generally every K-12 profile has Behance access turned off. The page explains the cause and offers nothing further, so use Behance's request form if you believe access should be on.
Messages that claim to verify your account
The Help Center's scam guide (updated 30 July 2025) says Behance or Adobe will not contact you through an Inbox message to verify your account. To report one, select the message, open the gear icon on the upper right of the message pane, choose Report and send the reason. Adobe's General Terms of Use, section 5.2, adds that you are responsible for reviewing messages that claim to come from Adobe and for keeping your email address and phone number current so alerts reach you. It also says Adobe may require multi-factor authentication.
Official recovery routes
- Old account, email forgotten. Complete the account recovery process the Help Center links to. If you cannot reach the email address, use the Behance request form.
- Password forgotten or changed. Behance passwords are Adobe ID passwords, so reset it through your Adobe ID.
- Account you cannot log in to. The Help Center says that for security it cannot grant access to, merge, sync or delete it.
- Suspected compromise. Adobe's terms tell you to contact your account administrator or Adobe Customer Care.
When several accounts share one computer
The cookie setting and the extension list belong to the browser you are using. Chrome's help page says separate profiles keep settings apart, so check both in each profile you use for Behance. A sign-in loop in one profile says nothing about the others. The multi-login guide covers switching, and the profiles guide shows how to set up one profile per account. For background, see what a browser profile is.
Where ADSSPEED fits
If you manage several Behance accounts, ADSSPEED gives each one its own browser profile in a desktop app for Windows and macOS. A profile holds its own cookies, local data and browser settings, so a sign-in in one does not sign out another, and the profiles can be opened, stopped and organised in bulk. Profile data is kept on your own computer. ADSSPEED is not affiliated with Behance, and it does not replace Adobe's recovery or appeal routes.
Frequently asked questions
Why does Behance keep logging me out?
The Help Center's FAQ says Behance does not support browsers that have third-party cookies disabled, because that setting interferes with how login works. Re-enable them, or add an exception for Adobe.com with the wildcard asterisk the page asks for if you prefer to keep them blocked.
Behance login not working: what should I check first?
Start with the supported-browser list, the third-party cookie setting and extensions such as ad blockers or password managers, then clear the cache and try another browser. The Help Center lists these steps and asks you to say which browsers you tried if you contact it.
Why did Behance open a blank account instead of mine?
Two causes appear in the Help Center. You may have signed in with the wrong Adobe ID, or your Adobe account may have been added to a managed business or school account, which moved your assets to a Business profile that you now choose at login.
What does an Access Denied warning on Behance mean?
The Help Center says it likely means you signed in with an Adobe ID tied to a K-12 Student Profile, and that K-12 profiles generally have Behance access turned off. The page explains the cause but offers no further workaround.
How do I recover a Behance account I cannot open?
The Help Center points to Adobe's account recovery process, and to its request form if you cannot reach the email address. It also says that for security it cannot grant access to, merge, sync or delete accounts you cannot log in to.
Will Behance message me to verify my account?
No. The Help Center's scam guide says Behance or Adobe will not contact you through an Inbox message to verify your account. Treat such a message as suspicious and report it from the gear menu of that message.
