Behance Rules for Multiple Accounts: What Adobe's Terms and the Community Guidelines Say

By ADSSPEED Team · Published · Updated · 6 min read

Is it allowed to have more than one Behance account?

The pages read for this guide neither set a number of Behance accounts nor forbid a second one. They do not grant permission either, and that difference matters. What they contain are rules that apply to every account you hold, plus one Help Center answer that treats owning two personal accounts as an access question: it explains that the profiles cannot be merged and offers a workaround for moving projects.

The sources, all read on 3 October 2026, are Adobe's General Terms of Use (published 18 June 2024), Behance's Community Guidelines (no date shown on the page) and Help Center articles with their own update dates. The General Terms link to a separate Behance terms document published as a PDF. This guide does not summarise it, so read it before relying on any conclusion here.

What the Help Center says about holding two accounts

The FAQ "Login and Account Access Issues" (updated 7 September 2023) lists a scenario in which someone realises they have two personal accounts and wants to merge them. The answer is that there is no way to merge two profiles or to migrate profile info or stats from one to the other, but projects can be moved:

  1. Choose the Behance profile to prioritise, the one with the most valuable assets such as stats and info.
  2. Make that profile a co-owner of every project on the other account. The co-owning guide says the invited profile must accept before it shows on the project.
  3. When every project is co-owned, delete the less important account. The co-owned projects remain on the primary account.

Two cautions come from the same Help Center. A co-owner gets full control of a project, and deleting a Behance profile is instant and permanent and does not cancel paid subscriptions tied to the Adobe ID.

Staying inside the rules with more than one account

  • Keep one person behind each login. Share work through a Team, co-owners and credits, as the team access guide explains.
  • Use accurate profile details, and do not present an account as another person or company.
  • Post your own work. The guidelines call uploading other people's work as your own copyright infringement.
  • Upload by hand. Scripted or automated uploading is on the list of behaviours that can lead to disabled accounts.
  • Do not arrange engagement. Schemes or third-party services that raise appreciations, views or other metrics are listed too.
  • Keep each Adobe account's email address and phone number current, because section 5.2 of the terms makes receiving Adobe's notices your responsibility.
  • Never create an account to get around a termination. Section 6.20 names it.

When a rule is broken: consequences and appeals

SituationWhat the pages sayRoute
Content removed or put behind the mature content wallYou may appeal if you think it was improper, once per projectOpen the project from your profile, or the Edit Project Settings page, and use the appeal option
Account disabled, or Adobe account deactivated in errorBehance disables accounts that undermine authenticity and may take further action on your Adobe account; Adobe's terms say you may appeal a deactivation made in errorUse the process shown when you try to log in, or the one at Adobe's Transparency Centre
Someone else breaks the rulesThe guidelines ask you to report itUse Report on a profile, project, work in progress, job post or Inbox message

The appeals guide is dated 14 May 2020, so the screens may have changed. If a route does not work, the Help Center's request form is a way to reach Behance.

Where ADSSPEED fits

ADSSPEED is a Windows and macOS desktop app that organises many browser profiles, so each account you are entitled to run can have its own space on your computer. Every profile keeps its own cookies, local data and browser settings, and profile data stays on your machine. It does not change what Adobe's terms or Behance's guidelines allow, and nothing about a profile or a proxy promises how Behance will treat an account. ADSSPEED is not affiliated with Behance.

Frequently asked questions

Can I have two Behance accounts?

No number appears in the pages read for this guide, and none of them calls a second profile a violation; a Help Center answer even explains how to combine two personal accounts. That is silence, not permission. Adobe's terms and Behance's guidelines apply to every account, and the separate Behance terms document was not read.

Can I merge two Behance accounts?

No. The Help Center says there is no way to merge two profiles or move profile info and stats. Its workaround is to co-own each project from one account with the other, then delete the less important account, so the co-owned projects stay on the account you keep.

Can I share one Behance login with my team?

Adobe's General Terms of Use say you may not share your account information except with an authorized account administrator, and not allow others to use the services with it. For shared work the Help Center offers Teams, co-owners and credits instead.

Why would Behance disable an account?

The Community Guidelines say accounts that undermine authenticity are disabled, listing false or misleading profile information, impersonation, falsely attributing work, scripted or bulk uploading and engagement-boosting schemes. The Comment Guidelines add that repeated off-topic comments, treated as spam, lead to deactivation.

How do I appeal a Behance decision?

For a project put behind the mature content wall or removed, the Help Center says to use the appeal on the project, once per project. For an Adobe account deactivated in error, Adobe's terms point to the process shown at login or to its Transparency Centre.

Can I use a script to upload my projects?

The Community Guidelines list scripted or automated processes, such as bulk or automated uploading through a script, among behaviours that can lead to disabled accounts. Upload your projects yourself in the Project Editor.
