Bilibili
How Can a Company, Agency or Team Run a Bilibili Account? Official Verification and Operators
How should a company, brand or agency run a Bilibili account?
Use Bilibili's institution verification (机构认证) and name an operator in a signed authorisation letter, rather than sharing one personal login. The pages read describe that structure, an organisation as the verification subject and an operator authorised in writing, but they describe no staff roles, seats or permission levels.
The sources are pages on bilibili.com and account.bilibili.com, read on 3 October 2026. The verification Q&A shows no date. The copy of the agreement hosted at game.bilibili.com is dated 1 September 2020, and clause numbers refer to it. Bilibili's pages are in Chinese, so labels are given in English with the Chinese in brackets where it helps. Bilibili sites on other domains, such as bilibili.tv, are not covered here.
Personal and institution-verified accounts side by side
| Point | Personal account | Institution-verified account |
|---|---|---|
| Badge | Personal verification shows a yellow lightning bolt: well-known creator (知名UP主), identity or field verification | Institution verification shows a blue lightning bolt: government, enterprise, media or organisation |
| First requirement | Real-name verification, with one ID document per account | A subject that matches the business licence or the institution's legal-person certificate |
| Who operates it | The person who registered it. The agreement bars lending it or letting others use it (2.3) | The operator named in the authorisation letter |
| Limits | One account per ID document | One account per brand, and up to 3 enterprise accounts per business licence |
| Review | None described | Annual assessment |
The authorisation letter and the operator
Bilibili's verification Q&A says institution verification needs an operation authorisation letter (机构运营授权函) made from Bilibili's own template. You enter the account's UID and the institution's full name, both matching the verification subject. The letter must carry the institution's official seal plus the operator's handwritten signature and date. The Q&A also asks for the latest high-definition colour original, or a black-and-white copy bearing a red official seal, with no watermarks or writing unrelated to the application.
Bilibili's Official Verification Service Agreement adds that the applicant promises to hold every legal qualification needed and an authorisation that is fully valid and irrevocable, and that the materials are true, accurate and lawful. It also says verified accounts must keep meeting the latest conditions, and that Bilibili may assess them every year.
What the pages do not describe: a way to add or remove operators with roles, a limit on how many people may sign in, or what happens when the named operator leaves. Ask Bilibili's customer service before you rely on any such arrangement.
Applying: the steps the pages describe
- Choose the type that fits the subject: government, enterprise, media or organisation.
- Prepare the subject documents. The subject must match the business licence or the legal-person certificate, and verifying a brand that belongs to the subject needs extra proof of a strong link.
- Download Bilibili's authorisation-letter template, fill in the UID and full institution name, then add the seal, signature and date.
- Check the nickname rules below before you apply.
- Apply through the PC entry,
account.bilibili.com/account/official/home, or the mobile entry,account.bilibili.com/official/mobile/home, as given in the Q&A. - Expect the annual assessment after approval.
Nicknames and the one-account-per-brand rule
- The Q&A says one enterprise can verify only one account per brand. If one company has several brands and wants several verified accounts, the nicknames and titles must show the difference.
- A verified nickname is 2 to 10 characters, and nicknames are unique on Bilibili, first come first served.
- An institution's nickname should in principle be the institution's name. If it differs, you add proof of the link.
- Nicknames are refused when they impersonate people, infringe another company's brand or trademark, are generic words such as regions or countries, are exaggerated marketing claims, or resemble Bilibili's own names enough to pass for an official account.
- If a company's own name is already taken, the Q&A points to the infringement appeal channel. Official media, government bodies and social organisations can use the nickname-retrieval request on the PC application page.
Keeping the badge, and losing it
The Q&A lists what blocks or removes verification: breaking the user agreement or Community Rules, failing the annual review, and a subject that has clearly given up the account. While a subject is involved, or may be involved, in a major public-opinion event, Bilibili may extend the review or hold off approving it. After verification is removed, the account loses the benefits and cannot apply again for 30 days.
Commercial use, Bilibili's name and advertising
- Commercial use. The Chinese agreement says Bilibili's services are for non-commercial use and that commercial use needs Bilibili's prior written consent (1.2). The English copy of 16 November 2020 does not contain that sentence, so confirm the position with Bilibili.
- Its name. Clause 4.3 bars announcing cooperation with Bilibili, or using its brand in promotion, without the written consent of the relevant Bilibili department.
- Advertising and partnerships. Bilibili's marketing website describes brand marketing, performance marketing and content marketing, and has a consultation form for companies. The form's options include creator cooperation and brand accounts. The contact page also lists a business-cooperation channel.
Hand-over and off-boarding
- Keep the verification subject in the organisation's name, never in an employee's or contractor's.
- Do not share a personal login. The agreement says you answer for everything done under an account (2.2), and that Bilibili does not compensate for losses from a leaked or stolen account (1.3).
- When an operator leaves, change the password and ask customer service how to update the operator named in the letter. The pages read do not describe that step.
- For client work, the structure above suggests the client's company remains the subject. That is an inference, not a Bilibili statement, so confirm it. The same ownership logic is described in managing multiple client ad accounts.
- To close an account that is no longer needed, apply through customer service. Closure cannot be reversed.
If an application fails, correct the materials and apply again, and use the Help Center or human customer service if the reason is unclear. For sign-outs and suspensions, see the logged-out and verification guide; for the wider rules, see the rules guide.
Where ADSSPEED fits
Verification and the authorisation letter are handled by Bilibili itself. Where each staff member or client needs a working environment of their own, ADSSPEED, a desktop app for Windows and macOS, gives every account its own browser profile with separate cookies, local data and settings, so the accounts can stay signed in side by side without signing each other out. A proxy can be set per profile or assigned to many at once, and profiles can be opened, stopped and organised in bulk. Profile data stays on your own computer.
Use only accounts you own or are authorised to manage, and follow Bilibili's rules. ADSSPEED is not affiliated with Bilibili.
Frequently asked questions
How do I verify an enterprise account on Bilibili?
Bilibili's verification Q&A lists enterprise verification under institution verification, shown with a blue lightning bolt. It asks for a subject that matches your business licence, an operation authorisation letter on Bilibili's template, and an application on its PC or mobile entry page.
How many accounts can one company verify on Bilibili?
The Q&A says one enterprise can verify no more than 3 enterprise accounts, counted by business licence, and only one account per brand. If one company has several brands, the nicknames and titles must show the difference between them.
What is the operation authorisation letter?
It is an institution operation authorisation letter on Bilibili's official template. You enter the account's UID and the institution's full name, matching the verification subject, then add the institution's official seal and the operator's handwritten signature and date.
Can I run a Bilibili account for a client?
The pages read describe a verification subject, which is the organisation, and an operator who signs the letter. They describe no agency role. A sensible reading is that the client's company stays the subject, but confirm with Bilibili before you rely on that.
Can a company just use a personal Bilibili account?
The Chinese agreement, dated 1 September 2020, says Bilibili's services are for non-commercial use and that commercial use needs Bilibili's prior written consent. The English copy lacks that sentence, so confirm with Bilibili before using a personal account for business.
What happens if a verified account fails the annual review?
The Q&A lists failing the official annual review as a reason to lose verification. After verification is removed, the account no longer has its verification benefits and cannot apply again for 30 days.
