Bilibili Multiple Accounts Rules: What the User Agreement Says About Having Several Accounts (2026)
Does Bilibili allow more than one account?
Bilibili's Chinese-language user agreement lists registering several accounts with the same identity verification information among the things you promise not to do, and says Bilibili may refuse registration or ban the accounts concerned. The English copy of the agreement has a shorter list without that item, so Bilibili's own texts do not match.
This guide reports what the pages say and is general information, not legal advice. Everything below comes from pages on bilibili.com and account.bilibili.com, read on 3 October 2026. The copy of the agreement hosted at game.bilibili.com is dated 1 September 2020, with 8 April 2020 as the previous version. The English copy says it was updated on 16 November 2020. Bilibili's index of agreements links its user agreement at www.bilibili.com/protocal/licence.html, so open that page to check the wording before relying on any clause. On the law that applies, clause 4.1 lists the laws of the People's Republic of China that users must follow, and clause 12.2 sends disputes to the Guangzhou Arbitration Commission. Other Bilibili domains, such as bilibili.tv, are outside this guide.
The clauses that matter when you run several accounts
Clause numbers refer to the Chinese text dated 1 September 2020.
| Topic | Clause | What it says |
|---|---|---|
| Several accounts | 2.6.3 | You promise not to register several accounts with the same identity verification information, including cases where Bilibili's review finds that one person actually controls them |
| Other people's details | 2.6.1, 2.6.2 | No registering with someone else's information, and none in another person's name without their lawful authorisation |
| Handing an account on | 2.3 | You hold a right to use the account and ownership stays with Bilibili. Without Bilibili's written consent you may not gift, lend, transfer, sell, pledge or pass it on by inheritance, or let others use it |
| Not the original registrant | 2.3 | If Bilibili finds, or has reasonable grounds to think, that the user is not the person who registered, it may suspend or end the service and cancel the account without notice |
| Where an account comes from | 1.3 | Accounts, coins and client downloads obtained outside Bilibili's official channels are called unlawful gains, are not recognised and may be deleted, zeroed or banned |
| Responsibility | 2.2 | You answer for everything done under your account |
| Automation | 4.2.11 | Without Bilibili's prior written permission you may not use bots, spiders, crawlers or other automatic programs or scripts, yourself or through others, to obtain its services, content or data |
| Impersonation | 4.2.3 | No posing as a person or organisation, or implying a link to one |
| Penalties | 2.7, 8.3 | Bilibili may refuse registration and/or ban the account (2.7), and may interrupt or end all or part of the service without notice for breaches (8.3) |
What clause 2.6.3 says, and what it leaves open
Clause 2.6 is a list that begins with a promise not to do the acts that follow. Item 2.6.3 names registering several accounts with the same identity verification information, and adds in brackets the case where Bilibili's review decides that the same person actually controls several accounts. Clause 2.7 then says Bilibili may refuse registration and/or ban users who break the list.
The text does not say how Bilibili's review works, how many accounts it tolerates, or how it treats one person who holds accounts under different identity information. Do not fill that gap with forum folklore. If you need to know whether a specific arrangement is allowed, ask Bilibili's customer service through the Help Center, which the contact page recommends for product questions.
Real-name verification: one ID document, one account
Bilibili's real-name verification page lists four notes. The first says each ID document can be bound to only one account. The others say a document photo that is unclear or does not match the typed details leads to rejection, that the details are used only for identity verification, and that once approved they cannot be changed, except where the original document stops being valid, for example after a name change or emigration. The page adds that after a successful verification you can use services such as opening a live room.
The page describes no way to attach a second account to the same document, and clause 2.6.1 bars registering with someone else's information. In Bilibili's verification Q&A, real-name verification is also the first requirement for a personal verification badge (the yellow lightning bolt).
The English and Chinese copies do not match
| Item | Chinese copy, 1 September 2020 | English copy, 16 November 2020 |
|---|---|---|
| Several accounts with one set of identity information | Listed as 2.6.3 | The six-item list in 2.5 has no such item |
| Ban on gifting, lending, selling or letting others use an account | Stated in 2.3 | No equivalent sentence found |
| Services for non-commercial use only | Stated in 1.2 | Not stated; 1.2 says services are to be used within Bilibili |
| Log out safely after each use | 2.5.2 | 2.2 |
| One account for all Bilibili products | 2.8 | 2.7 |
Neither copy says which text governs your situation. Plan around the stricter text and check the current agreement.
What happens if the rules are broken
- Accounts: refusal of registration and/or a ban (2.7), interruption or termination of all or part of the service without notice (8.3), and cancellation when the user is not the original registrant (2.3).
- In-app messaging (mobile client): Bilibili's message service specification says it may delete or block content without notice and, depending on the case, mute the account, restrict some or all functions, or ban it up to cancellation (Article 18). If you object, you can appeal with supporting material through online customer service (Article 23). No time limit is stated.
- Verification badges: breaking the agreement or Community Rules is one reason a badge is refused or withdrawn. After a badge is withdrawn you cannot re-apply for 30 days (verification Q&A).
- Not in the pages read: a number of strikes, or a published appeal procedure for the main agreement.
Bilibili's index also lists its Community Rules and Blackroom Penalty Regulations. This guide does not summarise them; open them through the links in the sources for conduct rules and penalty tiers.
How to stay inside the rules
- One person registers and uses each personal account, with their own identity information, and nobody else logs in to it.
- Register and sign in only through Bilibili's official channels, and do not use accounts obtained elsewhere.
- Do not lend, share or pass on a personal account. If a company needs an account, read the guide to company and agency accounts.
- Do not run scripts, bots or crawlers on Bilibili without written permission.
- If you manage several accounts you are entitled to, such as a personal account and an organisation's verified account, keep each in its own browser profile so you never mix them up. What a browser profile is explains the idea.
- Read the current agreement, and ask customer service when a situation is unclear.
Where ADSSPEED fits
ADSSPEED does not change Bilibili's rules. It is a desktop app for Windows and macOS that manages many browser profiles, each with its own cookies, local data and browser settings, so the accounts you manage can stay signed in side by side. A proxy can be assigned to one profile or to many, and profiles are opened, stopped and organised in bulk. Profile data is kept on your own computer.
Use only accounts you own or are authorised to manage, and follow Bilibili's rules. ADSSPEED is not affiliated with Bilibili.
