Quora Business Profile and Team Access: Managing a Brand Account With Several People

How do you manage a Quora brand account with a team? #

Give each person their own Quora login and add them to a shared profile; do not pass one password around. Quora's tools for this sit in three places: a Business Profile with admins, a Space with roles, and an Ads Manager with users. In the articles read on 3 October 2026, all three are built around people's own Quora profiles, which is what keeps a team off a shared login.

Many of the Business Profile and Ads Manager articles carry dates between 2019 and 2021, so confirm the current screens before you plan around them. Each fact below names the date the article shows.

How do you set up a Business Profile? #

Platform Policies (edited November 2025 in the Help Center data) allow an account that represents a legally incorporated business or organisation, say you are not required to create one, and note that Quora may ask a company account to verify. The page points to the Business Profile article. That article, edited May 2021, calls Business Profiles a beta feature and gives these steps:

1. Sign in to your Quora user profile.
2. Go to quora.com/business/create.
3. Click Business Profile (Beta) in the upper-right corner.
4. Enter your company information completely and accurately.
5. Wait for review. The article says reviews exist to stop an individual impersonating a business, and it asks for a business website, an official logo and description, and, for the person creating the profile, a verified email address on the business domain.

Until the profile is approved it cannot write answers. The separate overview article lists what distinguishes a Business Profile: it can be managed by several people, may use a business name, carries a business icon and can show industry topics and a location.

Who can do what in a Space? #

The Spaces FAQ (edited November 2021) lists these roles. Every Space starts with an owner.

The admin log records actions taken in a Space, such as who was invited and when settings changed, and owners and admins can use it to revert changes made by other members.

How do you add, remove and hand over access? #

Business Profile. Switch to the profile, open your profile icon, choose Settings and click Add a new admin. Search for the Quora user or paste their profile URL, which the article recommends, then click Add. The article explains adding but not removing admins, so check the profile's settings for what is offered now. It gives business-help@quora.com as the contact for converting a Business Profile back to a user profile.

Ads Manager. Open the Ads Manager's Account Settings, scroll to Account Users, click Add users, find the teammate by name or profile URL and confirm. To remove someone, click Remove and confirm; the article says that person loses access to that Ads Manager account.

Space. From the People tab, invite someone into a role and send the invitation. To cancel one, open Pending invites and choose Uninvite. After an invitation is accepted, the FAQ says to use the three dots beside the person and choose Block to remove them, while the admin tools article also mentions changing a role.

When someone leaves:

1. Remove them from every Business Profile, Ads Manager and Space they touched.
2. Transfer Space ownership before they go.
3. Keep the email on brand-owned accounts in a mailbox the organisation controls, because Quora sends password-reset emails only to the address tied to the account.
4. Read the admin log for changes they made.

What if access breaks? #

Which rules follow a brand account? #

• Quora may ask an organisation to verify its identity to prevent impersonation of well-known entities, and not every company profile is verified.
• Falsely posing as a brand is prohibited, and using Quora's own name or logo without authorisation is not allowed.
• The answer policies ask you to disclose relevant affiliations in the answer or the credential, do not allow affiliate links, and do not allow self-promotion that is not a direct, helpful response.
