Can You Log In to Two Snapchat Accounts at Once on the Same Computer?

By ADSSPEED Team · Published · Updated · 6 min read

Can you be signed in to more than one Snapchat account on the same computer?

Yes, with limits. Snapchat's Help Center says you are allowed to have more than one Snapchat account, provided every account follows the Terms of Service. On a computer you would use Snapchat for Web, and Snapchat says you can be logged in to it on only one computer at a time, so signing in on a second computer logs you out of the first.

The pages read for this guide do not describe a switcher that keeps two accounts open inside one browser profile on the web. That gap is why many people give each account its own browser profile, which the browser-profile guide walks through. Every Help Center page cited here was read on 3 October 2026 and none shows an update date, so treat the details as a snapshot. The other Snapchat guides follow the same sourcing.

What Snapchat for Web covers

Snapchat for Web lives at web.snapchat.com. The Help Center says you can chat, call friends and take Snaps from a desktop, and it asks for the latest version of Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge or Safari.

How several accounts work on a phone

Snapchat for Web does not cover every feature, so the phone app stays part of the picture. The Help Center documents one way to keep several logins at hand: saved logins. When you log in, Snapchat may ask whether to save your login. If you agree, the account appears on the login screen after you sign out and you can get back in with one tap. To remove a saved account, log out and tap Remove account under it on the yellow screen. On iOS, saved accounts can also appear on a new iOS device that uses the same iCloud account.

The same page tells you to decline saving on a shared or friend's device, and notes that an account left on the login screen may still get limited push reminders if notifications are on. It describes no in-app switch that skips signing out and no number of accounts a phone can hold. The Profile Switcher in the Help Center is documented for Public Profiles, not as a way to change logins; the business guide covers it.

The limits Snapchat actually documents

SituationWhat the Help Center saysWhere it appears
More than one accountAllowed, if all accounts follow the Terms of ServicePage on temporary access limits
One account breaks the TermsYou may be unable to use Snapchat on your device for an extended period; the page suggests waiting 48 hours and following the TermsSame page
Same email or number on two accountsOne email and mobile number can be verified per account; verifying the same details on the newer account removes them from the older onePage on verifying a mobile number
Many sign-ups or log-in attempts quicklyErrors SS01, SS03 and SS08 mean access is temporarily disabled; too many attempts or too many sign-ups in a short period are named as reasonsPage on login error messages
Many accounts on one deviceError SS07: the device is banned because too many accounts have been associated with it; Support cannot unban a deviceSame error page

None of these pages names a number of accounts per device or per computer. Read that as "not documented", not as "no limit". For the reasons behind each code and the official recovery steps, see why Snapchat logs you out or asks for a code.

Your options on one computer

One browser profile per accountKeeping each account's web sign-in apart; every profile keeps its own cookiesSnapchat's one-computer-at-a-time rule for Snapchat for Web still applies
Phone app with saved loginsAccounts you mostly use on a phoneDo not save logins on shared devices
Public Profile roles or Business ManagerBrand and team accounts, so nobody shares a loginEvery person needs their own Snapchat login
A tool that manages many browser profilesMany accounts you own or manageIt does not change Snapchat's rules (see the last section)

A browser profile is a separate set of browsing data inside the same browser. Chromium's documentation describes profile data such as history, bookmarks and cookies, with each profile in its own folder. The explainer on what a browser profile is gives the longer version.

What if signing in to one account keeps signing out another?

  1. Work out whether both sign-ins are the same account. Snapchat says a new Snapchat for Web login on another computer logs out the previous one, so decide which computer should hold the session.
  2. Open Session Management. On a computer go to accounts.snapchat.com and choose Session Management; in the app open Settings, then My Account, then Session Management. The list shows devices and browsers currently signed in, lets you log out of them, and shows active sessions only, not saved logins.
  3. If a session looks unfamiliar, or you keep having to sign in again, Snapchat lists that among the signs an account may be compromised. Follow the steps in the sign-in checks guide.
  4. If a device message such as SS07 appears, read what Snapchat's rules say. Snapchat says Support cannot unban a device.

Where ADSSPEED fits

ADSSPEED is a desktop app for Windows and macOS that manages many browser profiles. Each profile keeps its own cookies, local data and browser settings, so accounts you manage can stay signed in side by side without signing each other out. Profiles can be opened, stopped and organised in bulk, a proxy can be set per profile, and profile data stays on your own computer. It does not change Snapchat's rules, including the one-computer rule for Snapchat for Web. Use it only with accounts you own or are authorised to manage. ADSSPEED is not affiliated with Snapchat.

Frequently asked questions

Can you have multiple Snapchat accounts on one device?

Snapchat's Help Center says you are allowed to have more than one account, as long as every account follows its Terms of Service. It also describes a device ban (error SS07) when too many accounts are associated with a device, and it says Support cannot lift that ban, so there is no number you can rely on.

Can you switch Snapchat accounts without logging out?

The pages read describe saved logins: if you opt in, your account appears on the login screen after you sign out and you sign back in with one tap. They do not describe a switch that skips signing out, so this guide does not claim that one exists.

Can you use Snapchat on a computer without your phone?

Snapchat for Web is at web.snapchat.com and lets you chat and call from a desktop. Its troubleshooting tips mention keeping the phone app up to date and signed in to the same account, and the profile.snapchat.com help page says logins can fail if you never signed in on a phone. No page says whether a phone is needed every time.

Can two Snapchat accounts use the same phone number or email?

Snapchat's Help Center says only one email and mobile number can be verified per account, and the same contact details cannot be shared across accounts. If two accounts use them and they are verified against the newer account, they are removed from the older one.

Is there a limit to how many Snapchat accounts you can have?

No number appears in the Help Center pages read for this guide. They do describe limits that act on sign-ups and devices: too many sign-ups in a short period can disable access for a while (SS01, SS03, SS08), and too many accounts on one device can end in a device ban (SS07).

How do you log in to Snapchat on a computer?

Go to web.snapchat.com in the latest Chrome, Edge or Safari. The Help Center also describes a Sign in with Google choice on the web login prompt. It says only one computer at a time can be signed in, and a new login on another computer signs out the first.
