Can You Stay Logged In to Several VK Accounts at Once on One Computer?
Can I stay signed in to more than one VK account at once on one computer?
Yes, within a limit. According to VK ID's Help Center (read 3 October 2026), you can add accounts to a quick-switch list and move between them in one click, but the list holds no more than three accounts at once. VK's ‘What is VK ID?’ article describes the idea as creating up to three accounts and switching between them, for example to keep work and personal matters apart.
Use only accounts you own or are authorised to manage, and follow VK's rules. The table shows what the Help pages say and what that means in practice.
| What VK's Help says | What it means for you |
|---|---|
| Accounts are added from the photo thumbnail in the top-right corner, with Add account (Russian label: «Добавить аккаунт») | You add each account once, then switch from the sign-in page |
| No more than three accounts in the list at once | A fourth account does not fit in the list |
| A blocked or deleted account cannot be added | Fix or recover the account first |
| The list is not synchronised between devices | Add the accounts again on every computer you use |
| One phone number can be tied to only one VK ID account | Each account needs its own number |
The Help article does not label the surface it describes, but its first step points to a photo thumbnail in the top-right corner, which reads like a desktop-style page. Open it in your own browser and look for the same spot, because menus can change.
How do I add an account and switch between accounts?
- Open the VK ID account you are already using, in your browser.
- In the top-right corner, click your photo thumbnail.
- In the window that opens, click Add account.
- Choose the account from the list, or type its login and password yourself.
- Once you are signed in, the added account appears on the sign-in page, and you switch to it in one click.
What happens when I sign out of one account?
VK's sign-out page says to click the photo thumbnail and choose Log out (Russian label: «Выйти»). With several accounts added, signing out of the current one opens the next account in the list. If you do not want sign-in details kept on that computer, sign out of every account first, then click the cross beside the account.
On a shared or office computer, that last step is the one to remember.
What are the options when three accounts are not enough?
| Option | What it gives you | Limits to know |
|---|---|---|
| VK's quick-switch list | One-click switching on the sign-in page | Three accounts, one device, no synchronisation |
| Roles and delegated access | Teammates work on communities and ad cabinets without your password | Meant for brand, team or client work; see the business guide |
| QR sign-in from your phone | Signs the computer in through the VK app or VK Messenger on a phone that is already signed in | VK says to check that the sign-in page address matches on both devices and not to scan codes on suspicious sites |
| One browser profile per account | Each profile keeps its own cookies, history, passwords and settings | A browser feature, not a VK feature; see separate browser profiles |
The QR route works like this on the computer side, according to VK's Help: open the sign-in page, point the camera in the VK app, VK Messenger or an ordinary phone camera at the code, then confirm in the menu that appears. If VK says the code is out of date, refresh it with the round arrow and scan again. If an ordinary camera does not read it, use the scanner inside the app.
For the browser-profile row, Chrome Help says a profile keeps bookmarks, history, passwords and other settings separate, and the Chromium documentation says cookies sit in the profile's own folder. What a browser profile is explains the idea in plain terms.
What if the account will not add or the list looks wrong?
- The account will not add. Check whether it is blocked or deleted, because VK's Help says those cannot be added. For a blocked account, VK's blocked-account page explains the unblock steps; the rules guide summarises them.
- The list is empty on another computer. The Help says the list is not synchronised, so add the accounts again there.
- You land in the wrong account. VK's blocked-account page says that if two of your accounts share the same sign-in details you can end up in the older one. Compare the account addresses and change a password if needed.
- VK asks for extra confirmation after you switch. That is a separate topic; see why VK logs you out or asks to verify.
- You need more than three accounts for one team. First ask whether roles can replace separate logins. Any extra account must be one you own or are authorised to manage, with its own phone number.
Where ADSSPEED fits
VK's list stops at three accounts and lives on one device. ADSSPEED is a desktop app for Windows and macOS that manages many browser profiles. Each profile keeps its own cookies, local data and browser settings, so accounts you own or are authorised to manage can stay signed in side by side without signing each other out. Profile data stays on your own computer, and profiles can be opened, stopped and organised in bulk. It does not change VK's rules or its sign-in checks. ADSSPEED is not affiliated with VK. To set it up, see install ADSSPEED on Windows.
Frequently asked questions
How do I add a second account to VK on my computer?
According to VK ID's Help, click your photo thumbnail in the top-right corner, choose Add account in the window that opens, then pick the account from the list or type its login and password. After that you can switch between the added accounts in one click.
How many accounts can I keep in VK's switch list?
VK ID's Help says the list can hold no more than three accounts at once, and that a blocked or deleted account cannot be added. VK's overview page describes the feature as creating up to three accounts and switching between them.
Does VK remember my account list on other computers?
No. The Help says there is no automatic synchronisation of the account list between devices, so you must add every account by hand on each device you use. Nothing carries over to a new computer on its own.
How do I log out of VK on a computer?
Click your photo thumbnail in the top-right corner and choose Log out. If you added several accounts, VK opens the next account in the list. To stop sign-in details being kept, click the cross beside the account after signing out of all of them.
Can I sign in to VK on my computer with a QR code?
Yes, if the VK app or VK Messenger is installed and signed in on your phone. VK's Help says to open the sign-in page, scan the code with the phone and confirm; refresh the code if VK says it is out of date.
Can one phone number be used for two VK accounts?
VK ID's overview page says one phone number can be tied to only one VK ID account. If a new account is registered with a number already in use, VK's Help warns that the number is unlinked from the current account and access to it may be lost.
