Can You Be Logged In to Two SoundCloud Accounts at Once on One Computer?
Can you be logged in to two SoundCloud accounts at once on one computer?
Not with a built-in switcher, as far as SoundCloud's own pages show. According to SoundCloud's Help Center (read 3 October 2026), you leave one account by choosing Sign out from the three dots in the top navigation header, and none of the pages read for this guide describes an account switcher for the website. For people who look after several accounts, the Help Center's CAPTCHA page recommends a separate incognito window or a separate browser for each account.
On a computer SoundCloud is mainly a website: the Technical requirements page lists Chrome 109, Firefox 121, Edge 121, Safari 17 and Opera 106 or newer. The Help Center also describes a Desktop Player, which you install from soundcloud.com in Chrome, Brave or Edge after logging in, and has a separate page for a Windows 10 app. Neither page says anything about running two accounts side by side.
What does each SoundCloud account need?
Its own email address. The Email requirements page says an address can be associated with only one SoundCloud account at a time, so you cannot manage several accounts from one address, and the address used at sign-up is what SoundCloud treats as the mark of ownership. The sign-in routes look like this.
| Sign-in route | What the Help Center says | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Email and password | Sign in with the address on the account | One address per account; more can be added in Settings |
| Profile URL | If you forget the email, put the part of the URL after soundcloud.com/ in the email field, with your password | Keep a note of each account's profile URL |
| Facebook, Google or Apple | Connect them in Account Settings under Sign in with other social networks; Facebook must be a personal profile and Apple users must turn on multi-factor authentication | Disconnecting removes that route, so keep another login |
| Two-factor authentication | An authenticator app, set up on the website and applying to web and mobile; SMS is not offered | If email codes are your backup, open the inbox of the right account |
How do you switch from one account to the other?
The Help Center's steps for the website amount to this:
- Click the three dots in the top navigation header and choose Sign out. A screen confirms you are out.
- Sign in with the next account's email address or profile URL and its password, or with its connected Google, Facebook or Apple login.
- Check which profile opened before you upload, comment or send a message.
That is switching, not side-by-side use. The CAPTCHA page adds a catch: if you regularly sign in and out of an account on the same day, SoundCloud will probably ask for a CAPTCHA, and it suggests staying signed in. On the Android and iOS apps, the sign-out page adds that signing out removes downloaded tracks, which matters if you use offline listening.
What else does the Help Center say about several accounts?
- They cannot be merged. The Merging accounts page and the Managing Multiple SoundCloud Accounts page (updated 2 October and 26 September 2026) say two accounts cannot become one. You can delete one and upload its tracks to the account you keep, but stats, comments and interactions do not carry over, and deleting an account loses its followers, likes and comments.
- Separate purposes are suggested. The same page suggests keeping accounts apart for different uses, for example personal projects in one and collaborations in another.
- One stream at a time. The Listen on multiple devices page says that when you are signed in to your account you can stream on only one device at a time, on the website and in the Android and iOS apps. Starting a second device pauses the first with the message
Paused because you started playing on another device. The page describes one account on several devices, not two different accounts.
Which options keep two accounts open on one PC?
| Option | What you get | Limits |
|---|---|---|
| Sign out, sign in again | One account at a time, no setup | Each switch is a fresh sign-in, which the CAPTCHA page links to more CAPTCHA requests |
| A normal window plus a private window | Two accounts at once; the Help Center suggests incognito windows | Chrome says cookies are removed when all Incognito windows close and that several Incognito windows share one session, so it holds one extra account |
| Two different browsers | Two accounts at once; also suggested by the Help Center | You must remember which browser holds which account |
| One browser profile per account | Each account stays signed in; Chrome says profiles keep bookmarks, history, passwords and other settings apart | You must open the right profile each time; see the profiles guide |
A profile separates data on your computer, not the computer or its connection. What a browser profile is explains the idea, and the comparison guide covers how private windows and VPNs differ.
Google also offers searches such as how to switch soundcloud accounts on rekordbox. SoundCloud's rekordbox and Serato integration pages explain how to log in with a SoundCloud account and say nothing about logging out or switching accounts, so use the DJ software's own documentation for that step.
What goes wrong when one person has several accounts?
- A new account appears by accident. The Help Center says that if signing in with Facebook or an email address creates a new account, your usual profile probably is not connected to that login. Delete the new profile in Account Settings, then sign in to the usual one with its email or full profile URL. If an email sign-in created the new account, enter your profile URL on the forgot-password page: the reset goes to the primary email of the usual account, and searching your inboxes for messages from no-reply@soundcloudmail.com shows which address that is.
- Check before you delete. The deletion policy says an account's data, including uploaded sounds, may not be recoverable. Do this on the website: the Help Center's pages disagree about whether the apps offer account deletion, and both describe the website's Account Settings.
- "Email already in use" at sign-up. The Common Errors During Sign Up page says you may already have an account without knowing it, for instance when a Facebook login is connected to your email, and suggests trying to sign in with Facebook.
- Codes go to the wrong inbox. The two-factor page says that with several accounts or emails you should check you are reading the right inbox.
What if it still fails?
- Signed out again and again, or a CAPTCHA at every sign-in: read why SoundCloud keeps signing you out.
- Cannot sign in: the Unable to Sign In to Your Account page covers resetting the password (the link expires after 3 hours) and signing in with your profile URL when you forgot the email.
- Nothing works: the Help Center says to contact its AI agent, which can create a ticket for a support specialist.
Where ADSSPEED fits
ADSSPEED is a desktop app for Windows and macOS that manages many browser profiles. Each profile keeps its own cookies, local data and browser settings, so accounts you manage can stay signed in side by side without signing each other out. Profiles can be opened, stopped and organised in bulk, and profile data is kept on your own computer. It does not change what SoundCloud allows, and you still sign in to each account as the Help Center describes. Setup is in installing ADSSPEED on Windows. ADSSPEED is not affiliated with SoundCloud.
Frequently asked questions
Can you have two SoundCloud accounts?
SoundCloud's Help Center treats it as a situation to manage: it says accounts cannot be merged and suggests keeping them separate for different purposes, such as personal projects and collaborations. Each account needs its own email address, and the Community Guidelines forbid creating several accounts to inflate other profiles' popularity.
Can you have multiple SoundCloud accounts on one email?
No. The Help Center's Email requirements page says an email address can be associated with only one SoundCloud account at a time and that managing several accounts from one address is not possible. An account may hold extra addresses, but each address belongs to a single account.
How do you switch SoundCloud accounts on a computer?
The Help Center's sign-out page says to click the three dots in the top navigation header and choose Sign out, after which you sign in as the other account. The pages read describe no switcher. To keep both open at once, use a separate incognito window, browser or browser profile for each account.
Can you merge SoundCloud accounts?
No. The Help Center says two accounts cannot be merged. You can delete one and upload its tracks to the account you keep, but stats, comments and interactions on those tracks do not carry over, and deleting an account loses its followers, likes and comments.
How do you switch SoundCloud accounts on rekordbox or Serato?
SoundCloud's pages on the rekordbox and Serato integrations explain how to log in with a SoundCloud account but say nothing about logging out or switching accounts. Check the DJ software's own documentation for that step.
Why can't I log in to SoundCloud with Facebook?
One cause the Help Center describes is that the Facebook login created a brand-new account because your usual profile was never connected to it. Delete the new profile in Account Settings and sign in to the usual one with its email or full profile URL. Facebook can connect only to personal profiles, not Pages.
